Everyone is looking for ways to improve their site's visibility, and one major way is by getting listed in business directory sites. This is a very important part of being successful on the internet. The only way to grow your business is if people can actually find you! This is a very good technique for getting one way inbound links.

Good directory submission

1. Search for your URL before beginning to submit within a directory. Sometimes you might surprised and find that your site already appears in that directory.

2. Do a search using one of your keywords. This way you can clarify you which category you should choose for your website. Also, you will get a better sense of how this particular directory wants the descriptions written. If you submit your information incorrectly or in a sales and marketing kind of way then you might not get accepted.

3. Keep your description between 10-20 words, but do remember to include some of your very important keywords into that small description.

You should not:

1. Make multiple submissions of the same website.

2. The Olala Directory has a policy against the inclusion of sites with illegal content. Examples of illegal material include child pornography; lible; material that infringes any intellectual property right; and material that specifically advocates, solicits or abets illegal activity (such as fraud or violence).

3. Do not submit sites "under construction." Only Finalized websites should be submited to Olala Directory. Please make sure your website has no broken links and graphics.

4. Submit pornographic sites to the appropriate category under Adult.

5. Submit only English sites to Olala Directory.

6. Don't submit sites consisting largely of affiliate links.

If a site has been accepted for inclusion in the directory but you are dissatisfied with how the site is described or titled or if you are dissatisfied with the category in which your site is listed, you may send an e-mail to Olala Directory from Contact Page explaining your disagreement. Be polite and civil -- threatening or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

If your site has been accepted into the Olala Directory, it may take up to 7 days for your site to be listed.
