The fact that all these museums are not naive instead they are one of the most famous places which have been on the itinerary of those who look forward to visit the museums. The British museum can be your starting point to start with the tours on museum and this has been one of the most visited attractions for the travellers. The second being the National Gallery one of the most beautiful stone edifices standing tall in the Trafalgar square area so in case you happen to be in the central part of London you can probably spend the whole day in here. On the river, Thames, there are two museums which are an extension of the same and they are the Tate Modern and the Tate Britain housing some of the contemporary artist works it is quite a good place to have a deeper understanding about the modern art and its various dimensions. In case you are in the Kensington area of the London city there you will probably have Natural History, museum which is quite fun and educative at the same time similarly there is the Science museum and the Victoria and Albert museum too.
Several cinema theatres throng the streets of the London city one of them is in the Borough street area and to reach the cinema you can board the Northern line and get down at the Borough tube station. For a place to hang out with a bunch of friends who love to watch movie together you should hit for Roxy bar and screen and all you need to do is order your favourite drink and enjoy the movie that is getting screened in the bar quite a different experience. Few of my friends who were putting up at the Hyde park hotels were planning to catch some classics and they were thrilled to visit this chic looking place where they could order a chilled glass of beer and enjoy their favourite classics.
Walk along the Thames
The best way to relax here in London is to be beside the river Thames so in case you want to sight see the areas near the river then you should take a stroll from the Westminster bridge and walk all along the river with the breeze hitting your face till the point where you make it to the tower bridge. Although it is quite a long way but once you are at the banks of the Thames you might just enjoy the stretch and here and there are these beautiful chic pubs which serve you good food along with drinks. While you might think, you can cover only few places but there are a number of tourist spots and you can cover them all while you spot them on your way.
Changing of the guard
While the Buckingham palace is a beauty in itself yet every day in the summer months you can witness, a spectacular event called the Changing of guard that too in front of the Palace while in case you are vacationing in the winter months then this event is held every alternate day. This beautiful ritual is worth watching as you can see the queen’s guard switching in perfect sync and they all are beautifully uniformed in their traditional British way all you need to do is be there at the spot as early as possible.
Watch a concert at National Theatre
Different kind of music and concerts are held at the National Theatre which is on the Southbank near the Waterloo bridge so while here you should be sure of catching a complete music festival or some concerts whichever is being organized as they all have free entries and that is of course not getting charged. My friends who were staying near the Hyde park London had been aware of the theatre and they quite enjoyed the festivals which were being showcased here and they are rare talents which you cannot help but appreciate there were events which had jazz dancers along with their troupes and different folk acts performed by local artists.
Bird’s eye view visit
The best way to explore is to be on foot but then there are many other ways to explore this beautiful city you can have a bird eye visit and that too on the London eye this giant wheel is almost a favourite with both the adults as well as the children you can just sit and spot few of the many destinations. The second way is the cable car book the car for yourself and your loved ones and feel the adrenaline rush as you see almost the whole city from the top, the breath-taking view of the city is something to die for you just cannot stop admiring the beautiful, panoramic view which you catch from the top.
