How Socially Conscious Vegan Entrepreneurs Are Giving Back
There are many socially conscious entrepreneurs around such as those who are concerned about the needs of individuals with special needs such as those who are hearing and vision impaired (like Halfcode who makes smart wearables for this demographic). And there are plenty of socially conscious entrepreneurs that are concerned about the environment. And there is a group of other socially conscious entrepreneurs that want to help in other ways such as going green, helping to keep the planet and animals safe. Those are vegan entrepreneurs.
An example of a vegan entrepreneur is the CEO and founder of LaBante London, Vanita Bagri. She designed vegan-certified luxury sunglasses and handbags and states how she wants to donate a percentage of profits to organizations that look out for the welfare of animals such as PETA.
And the truth is that animal welfare is a concern of many and that is why she wants to donate the proceeds to an organization that will help out animals in any way possible. The more funded these types of animal welfare organizations are, the better they will be able to provide more protection to animals that are in danger and are in need.
And not only are these organizations donating to causes such as PETA but they do specific fundraises for causes by fundraising at events that they hold.
Another vegan socially conscious entrepreneur who is doing a lot of good in the world by protecting animals and by going green is Joshua Katcher, the founder of Brave GentleMan. He designed vegan menswear that is high-end and has been telling customers to stay tuned as well that his future luxurious clothing will be made of vegan leather and vegan wool. And this is helping others become socially conscious and to live a vegan lifestyle themselves because the quality of this clothing is so high.
Another socially conscious entrepreneur that is vegan is Uma Valeti, M.D, the cofounder and CEO of ‘meats that are clean’ in Memphis meats which is a cruelty-free company. It creates a lab-grown chicken and ducks ‘meat’ through plant-based materials. And their mission is to make the ‘meat’ taste like real meat in order to save the animals from terrible fates so people will be happy with what they are eating, and will get the nutrients that are needed that come from animal proteins. The facilities use a fraction of water and land that farms use and they are proud that this is the case because they are really making big moves in helping keep the environment and animals safe.
Another cruelty-free and vegan socially conscious entrepreneur is Brook Harvey-Taylor who founded Pacifica and got her husband, Billy Taylor involved as it manufacturers green and cruelty-free beauty products that will never be tested on animals. They manufacture cosmetics, perfumes, and skincare products that are completely vegan and the popularity of these products are rising as they are natural and are being picked up from drugstores as well as health food stores, and customers are flocking to these products because they are cruelty-free, vegan, and completely natural.
There is also the founder and CEO of Vega, Brendan Brazier who was at one time a professional Ironman triathlete that manufacturers vegan protein shakes and products for athletes and bodybuilders, so they are only taking in highly nutritious vegan, shakes that lacks animal proteins.
And last but not least, there is also Miyoko Schinner the founder and CEO of Miyoko’s Kitchen that manufactures vegan cheese and butter. All of the cheese and butter are made from plant-based ingredients and do not have any type of animal protein at all.
As you can see there are more and more vegan and green socially conscious entrepreneurs who care about the welfare of animals and the planet, and who want to give back. This can only lead of wonderful things in the future!
