Garmin Touch Screen Not Working Properly
Remember, you will need to calibrate the screen if the Garmin touchscreen isn’t working properly. On the other hand, calibration resets and repositions of the screen for optimal performance without any delay in saved settings. Prior to calibrating the screen, you have to take care of this point that your device isn’t overheated and are up-to-date. Moreover, pressing and holding the Power button on your Garmin device for few minutes will display the calibration screen automatically. Know How to Update Garmin Marine Software (Optional)
Here, you will have three (3) options to pick from – ECHOMAP, GPSMAP, OTHER. You are supposed to select your device and scroll down. Now, find the device you have on-board and after that, consider downloading the bundle.
Note down that this will download an.EXE File to download folder on your PC or laptop. Open the download folder on your device – locate the file and double click on it in order to run the application. After that, follow the Garmin Wizard. It will walk you through extracting the software on SD card.
As soon as the Software is on the SD card, take it to the Garmin unit – insert it into the card reader and your Garmin device will recognize automatically that there is a software update card. Moreover, it will ask you if you wanna update the unit or not.
