Ivan Perisic is known as Croatian winger who was born on 2 February 1989; he plays for both the National team of Croatia and Inter Milan in Serie A. He mainly came in as a winger, but he can also play as attacking midfielder or second striker. The winger became a great asset developed by Sochaux and Hajduk Split’s youth systems; he got his place at Club Brugge as he gained the award of top goal scorer at Belgian Pro League; later he was also appointed as the Footballer of the Year of Belgium in 2011.
As he reached to his heights, he moved to Borussia Dortmund and earned a Bundesliga Title in 2011-12 Season. Later, he went to VFL Wolfsburg for 8 million Euro fee in January 2013 for the following Season. He got one more Silverware in the form of DFB-Pokal final 2015 during his stay (2.5) at the German club. Later he transferred to Inter for 16 million Euro fee.
In 2011 Ivan played his first national team game and appeared in the Croatian team at Euro 2012, Euro 2016, World Cup 2014 and World Cup 2018 since then. He is known as the first ever player of Croatia to net a ball in the World Cup Final when goal opposite France in the first ever FIFA World Cup Final of Croatia. When he was a kid, he was a big supporter of Hajduk Split, but in 2006 he entered into France based club Sochaux after neglecting offers from large European Clubs like Ajax, Hamburgers SV and Anderlecht; 360000 Euros was a transfer fee. Roeselare was rented in January 2009 for a 6 month period.
Perisic has appeared for Croatian team at Under-17, 19 and Under-21 levels. He made his debut for senior Croatian team versus Georgia on 26 March 2011. Then he appeared in Croatian team in UEFA Euro 2012 as a starter in the opening matches of the side opposite Italy and Ireland.
