Maruti Suzuki has recently launched the new mini SUV S-Presso, in India. It is priced between Rs 3,69 lakh and Rs 4.91 lakh. It offers manual and AGS (auto gear shift) options. The company has included more than 10 safety features in it. Let us test the S-Presso manual, know how this car is for five people …
In terms of design, the new S-Presso looks a bit different from the regular cars, its looks are new. It looks very bold from the front, its front chrome grille makes it different, the car’s side profile is fine but there is a lot of gap between its body and tires which makes its looks gritty. According to us, this gap would have been better. The new S-Presso looks good from the back. It has used 40 percent stainless steel for strength. It is built on Maruti’s HEARTECT plate form.
The interior of the car impresses at first sight, its dashboard design and meter console are fun. For music lovers, it has a touch screen infotainment system, whose sound is really better. Good quality has been used in its cabin, but it is not very premium. The new S-Presso gets a good amount of space, space is good for the front and rear seats, especially for the back seaters, it will provide space for legroom. If you have a high average, you will not have any problem behind, but if your height is around 6 fit, then this car can disappoint in terms of headroom. Apart from this, all its seats are soft and comfortable. But we found the width of the driver and passenger seat to be a bit less.
Engine and Power
It is powered by a 998cc BS6 engine that gives 50kw power at 5500Rpm and 90Nm torque at 3500Rpm. It has 5 speed manual transmissions.
Overall, the new Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is a practical mini SUV, with new design. It is compact from the outside but it has plenty of space from inside, its engine is good in terms of city and highway. This car easily crosses the bad roads with the help of high ground clearance and good suspension. The price of the car impresses and its features are good for daily use. For safety, it offers features such as airbags, anti-lock braking system, ABS, rear parking sensors and seat belt reminder. If you want to try something new, then you will like the new S-Presso.
