We know that you put all of your heart and mind in your company. You are well motivated by the results you get and especially by the entrepreneurial fire inside you. You want to strive and be better than before each and every time. So how do you plan on doing so?
Your efforts and hard work is well appreciated by your subordinates who view their leaders as their role models. What we know for sure is that a happy employee is a productive employee. To get better and bigger than before you need to realise the needs and happiness of the employees. It may even look like a lot of hard work and you may even think that it will use up a lot of your resource which were trusted upon you by the public and the consumers. But it is not true at all. All it requires is a little bit of a flare from your entrepreneurial fire. The most simple things which require just a little bit of your effort may suffice.
During a census, it was recorded that only sixty nine percentage of the employees think that their efforts were useful to the company. In other words only 69% thought of working properly. You may even overrule this theory since it covers majority of the employees. But being a leader, you know that a company is like a clock. All of the parts have to work in coordination with each other in order to tell the time accurately. Similarly employees need to work harder and have to be productive. All the employees need to be motivated enough. To motivate them all you need to do is acknowledge their work and let them know about it. You need to tell your employees that they are doing a good job and their work has some value in the firm.
Employees need to know that what they are doing is helping the firm to generate more and more revenue. Once they know that they are doing a good job or their work is being noticed by their superiors, they get motivated enough to work with their full potential. It has been noticed, that many times people often look to the leaders of the company as their heroes. They plan to work harder and become whom they look upto. Therefore, it is your duty to become the leader they think you are. The employees will follow your footsteps and ultimately will give their all to increase production and the quality of the work as well. Make sure that you are communicating to them effectively. There should not be any disturbances or loss of data. Employees should be aware of the rules and regulations of the company. They are entitled to know about every information of the company so that they could work in a better way. Unknown things or incomplete information has always been harmful. Try to eliminate it as soon as possible by communicating properly. Being a leader, you should be aware of the fact that different people have different needs and attitudes. They work, behave and perform differently. People are diverse and dynamic. Leaders should always have the command over their employees. It can only be done by utilising the DISC tool which allows you to know who a person really is. It tells you about the nature, attitude and behavioural pattern about the people which makes it easy to govern them. Employees have to give a DISC assessment online. Only then you would be able to make decisions based on the wealth of knowledge you gain from the assessments.
Remember, that there is nothing that you cannot achieve without a great teamwork.
