It is no secret that we are all nourishing a little daredevil inside us irrespective of how good person we are. We are all humans and we know that if though you are a nice Ms. Goody two shoes or the saint, you do have a hidden darker self. Then, there are some people who are just downright too notorious and mysterious. There are the people in between who are confused on which path to follow, the good side or the naughty side. You might belong to any of the following groups but, you should remember that you are supposed to follow the rules of the country you are staying in. You are citizen of the place and of course it is an ‘If’… ‘then’… situation where in if you are a citizen or if you are living under non-residential visa, you are bound to the countries rules. It is acceptable if you did not know the countries customary laws but, you should of course know the general rules like traffic rules which is universal else than the fact that some countries have a driver’s seat in their left hand side whereas right side in some places. Here are some rules stated down for you that are normally expected in all the countries around the world.
Traffic rules and driving regulations
Here, traffic rules refer to the general rules. When you are driving a car or riding a two wheeler, you are expected to follow the traffic signals. Some people in places like India, Sri Lanka and similar places, the people are more often act like right brained people and act to impatiently. It is frustrating to see that normal rules are broken when they can just follow it and avoid fines and trips to courts. You should always wear motorbike helmets and seat belts not just for law but also for your own self safety. It is not going to hurt anyone to be precautious.
The Immigration, Visa and Passport
It does not matter if you are foreigner and do not know the place better or any better excuse. You are expected to have a valid visa and passport at any time as required. It is considered as an offence (criminal offence), to stay in the country without proper certification. These people can be deported back with huge amount of fined and even be asked to serve a period of time in jail. Therefore, when you are in foreign soils make sure to find your country embassy in that particular country. In any problem, you can report to you country’s embassy. They might help you finding aid.
If you commit any kind of serious offence, then there is no escape. When you are a foreigner in the place where you had committed serious offences like murder, rape, theft or any other crime, then you are going to face either the international courts or the legal bodies will decide which law will prevail in time of ‘conflict of laws’. This anyway ensure that the offence is punished and you will not have any say unless you are a victim being sabotaged. But, you will need proper proof to establish your innocence.
