Once done, insert any thin object in the factory reset hole and hold it for 30–40 seconds. Once finished with the countdown, release it.

Steps for Linksys Setup Extender Process
First of all, plug your range extender and the existing router into an electric wall socket and wait for the LED lights start blinking. After that, grab your computer and open an internet browser onto it. Now, in the address bar, type linksys extender.linksys.com.
Important Note: Don’t forget to connect your computer and the range extender with each other. Moreover, you can also the default IP address for Linksys Setup Extender for login and setup.
Next, enter the username and password (default) in order to seek the web-based setup page. Once you are onto the Linksys extender login, just keep following the on-screen to start the setup process.
Here, you can see the list of available and active networks. Select that network that belongs to you and whose range you want to extend. You can simply to this by typing the password of your WiFi router. Hit ‘Next’ and save the settings.
