Try the Delightfully Rich Sun View Wines
Sun View Wines has been in the business for over 50 years though the company started the commercial production of wine with grapes that were grown in the 2002 vintage. Before this, the Roccisano family had been producing wines only for family and friends. Their basic aim at that time was to manufacture wine only for personal consumption. It was only when people pushed them to produce wines on a larger scale so as to make some money that they got the idea of starting a wine – producing business.
The company was set up only as a strategic move to add value to the grapes grown in the vineyards owned by the Roccisanos. They exported their personal style of wine to markets and traders. Whoever drank was mesmerized by the taste of their incredible wines and welcomed them in the market with open arms.
The vineyard owned by the company is situated in Mildura, an area known for its fertile and excellent loamy soil as well as long and dry summer season. Both these features contribute to the creation of full – flavoured, soft and fruity wines. The Managing Director of the organization, Vince Roccisano is a famous viticulturist who is popular for growing premium wine – grapes in his vineyards. The production of wines manufactured from the grapes grown in the company vineyards as well as the bottling and packaging of the wine is carried out on a contract – basis by Victorian and South – Australian winemakers.
This wine company mainly produces red wines though the range offered by them is pretty wide. Each bottle of the Sun View Wines company has a red ‘I’ and features a motif of the Sydney Opera House, certifying that the wine is Australian. The flagship wine of the company, the premium Shiraz, is presented with a black label to give a distinct look and project an up – market image of the wine. Each bottle is labelled as ‘Sun View’.
The fertile loamy soils as well as near – perfect conditions for viticulture in their area has led to the growth of this company. The mild spring and the blissful summer allows the grapes here to ripen slower than at the usual rate. A dry and warm autumn that soon follows guarantees a perfect finish, intense colour, fruit and flavour to the wines.
Some of the wines produced from these trademark grapes are Shiraz, Merlot and Cab Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and both pink as well as white Moscato. These wines have been praised world over by wine – enthusiasts. They are most definitely a must try for all wine lovers.
