According to ancient science of Ayurveda, there are some Ayurveda treatments for stress management which can help one to fight back the day to day stress and then enhance the natural ability to recover from the side effects of it.
One needs to follow a particular lifestyle in order to have a stress fee life. The first thing that one needs to do is to start a stress free day. How to do that? Well, one should go through the day according to the schedule. Here is a schedule that one can follow on a daily basis (apart from weekends):
- Wake up around 6 in the morning.
- Empty the bladder and the bowel.
- Wash the face very well.
- Brush your teeth and rinse the mouth and after that drink a cup of fresh water.
- Go for an oil massage on the body which is also called abhayanga.
- Wait for 15 to 20 minutes and then take a bath. Use lukewarm water for bathing.
- Spend 15 to 20 minutes to perform Yoga or Sun Exercise.
- Have breakfast with cereal bowls and fresh fruits.
- Then go out for work.
It is said that oil massage is a great way to release the stress. If one does not have time to massage the whole body then they can easily go for hands, feet and neck massage because they are the major stress areas. Oil massage also nourishes the skin and the body and so it gives some relief to the nerves.
Meditation is another important and effective way to release stress. If one goes for meditation for at least half an hour every day then they can reduce some important stress hormones like lactic acid, cortisol and anxiety. At the same time it increases the level of serotonin in the body which is a sign of relaxation.
Use of aromas can also help to reduce stress. Flowers can create some natural and soothing aromas which can be helpful. One can use an aroma diffuser or an incense stick to get good results. Or else one can use a few drops of essential oils in the bath water which will make one feel calm.
Listening to music can also be of huge help. Every night before going to sleep one can listen to some serene melodies for half an hour which will help the nerves to get relaxed and one can fall into deep sleep easily. If one gets sound sleep then the stress level in the body remains low.
These are the few regular things that one can follow. There are other Ayurvedic treatments for stress relief as well like one can drink some stress busting beverages like herbal tea so that they can combat stress. Or else they can also go for herbal tonics.
