If there is rust on your roof , then it has probably been neglected for a while now. Rusting is a clear indication that you need to do something repair work on the roof. Though contractor experts may call for a whole replacement, a simple paint job may increase the longevity of a rusting roof. If you have simple galvanized iron sheets, then maybe the galvanizing material has run obsolete, and you need an additional coating to shield the roof from direct rain and oxygen.
